SAINT LUCIA RAINFOREST HIKES
En Bas Saut Rainforest Hike Adventure
A thirty minutes drive away from Soufriere town takes you to the rainforest. The first half of the hike one descends forty five minutes among lush vegetation, tree ferns and endemic tree species to the waterfall where one can have a refreshing swim. The full hike lasts about two and a half hours and is strenuous. Among the fauna that can be seen are bird species, crabs (and boa constrictor- rare).

PITON FLORE RAINFOREST HIKE
An easy to moderate one hour hike among our tropical forest; this hiking trail 5km. (3 miles), is located to the north of the island and is perfect for everyone in the family. This trail boasts large fig trees, epiphytes and tree ferns and other wildlife. It also consists of many fresh water springs which are vital to the island’s water supply.

MILLET RAINFOREST HIKE
This is a one and a half hours hiking through tropical flowers, endemic tree species and fresh water streams. One hikes about 1000ft. above sea level where there is a fantastic view of the Roseau dam (one of the island’s main water reservoirs). This trail also offers a good opportunity to see some of the island’s bird species as Millet is well known for Bird watching.

DESCARTIER
A ninety minutes drive from the Capital takes one to this trail located on the east coast. The trail is 4km (2.5miles) and is moderate, lasting about an hour with similar tree species as the other rainforest trails such as tree ferns, Gommier, Chatagniers and Mahogany. They are perfect for families with children and for those who just want to experience the natural beauty of the rainforest. This trail is also well known for Bird Watching.

BARRE D’ISLES RAINFOREST HIKES
A thirty minutes drive from Castries takes one to this trail. The trail starts with a forty-five minutes moderate hike followed by a thirty minutes strenous hike to the top of Mont La Comb. Wildlife on this trail is minimal but a few of the island’s endemic bird species can be found there.

SOUFRIERE ZIP LINE
Experience thrill of zipping on a working plantation with fabulous views of the island’s tallest peak; Mont Gimme, the rainforest, the twin Pitons, Soufriere harbor and Soufriere town. The course consists of eight zip cables.

DENNERY ZIP LINE
The Dennery zip line is an hour and a half drive away from Soufriere and is found on the island’s east coast. It consists of twelve zip cables through the lush rainforest of the east coast. Guides are stationed at each platform to help you enjoy this amazing adventure.

ATV ADVENTURE TOUR
A perfect tour for the adventurous folks! One will be driven to the district of Micoud for this tour. You can choose your own ATV Bike or you may choose to ride with your loved one. The ride lasts three hours, going through a working plantation with fruit bearing trees and plantation crops such as; a wide variety of mangoes, cashew nuts, wax apples, star fruits and breadfruit amongst others. The drive continues through the forest where you can see some of the island’s wildlife including the Amazona Versicolor Parrot. Complementary drinks will be served afterwards.

MOUNT GIMMIE HIKE
Challenge yourself to St. Lucia’s greatest adventure! Hike the island’s tallest peak ‘Mount Gimmie’ with an experience tour guide who loves adventure just as you do! BIKING & SNORKELING ADVENTURE

A ride through an old but vibrant 18th century working plantation with fruits trees and plantation crops, lead by an experience and informative rider is one adventure that many look forward to. Visit the water reservoir holding thousands of gallons of water that was used to turn the sugar mill in the days sugar cane was King. You should look forward to conquering the ‘World’s Cycling Champion trail’ which takes you to a summit of over 1,000 feet where you have a perfect view of the Twin Peaks rising from the Caribbean Sea. If you’re a beginner, well there are trails designed especially for you and also short practices before you head out for your ride. The nearby, crystal clear, sandy beach is a perfect way to refresh the body as you jump right in for snorkeling after your ride. Lunch will be served afterwards.
